The Dry Mill

The Dry Mill is a luxury development on the Knysna Lagoon.

CREATE DESIGN ™ was approached to develop brochures, a website, email and print newsletters, large format display advertising and magazine advertising to market The Dry Mill development.

The main objective of the marketing materials was to reflect the dream of living in South Africa’s premier waterfront town. Starting with the main sales brochure we captured the essence of living on the lagoon by alluding to the natural colours and landscapes that surround the development. The large format brochure with detailed plan inserts was a visually striking sales tool that set the development apart.

Key images were selected and repeated in the brochure and throughout a suite of further material. This iconic imagery became part of the brand DNA and is now synonymous with The Dry Mill.

A series of print adverts run in various national magazines followed through with the style of design and feel established in the
Dry Mill brochure.

A sales website was developed, themed around the concept of a picture postcard. The compact website made great use of strong imagery and The Dry Mill design theme to attract buyers to the sales centre. Additionally designed email-based newsletters were designed to enable the sales team to stay in contact with the buyers and reinforce the strong brand created.
