Hearts Content , handmade jewellery from the Cape Town studio of Lesley Hawthorn.

Each piece of Hearts Content jewellery is imbued with a sense of nostalgia and a classical romantic touch.

CREATE DESIGN ™ design started working with Hearts Content to refine and set a corporate image that would convey the sense of history and colonial nostalgia that characterises the jewellery. Roses and hearts – feminine and romantic -- are executed in a crisp modern style to balance the old and the new.

The next task – to design an eCommerce website so that the world could enjoy the jewellery as well. The site design had to retain Hearts Content’s very unique corporate image. Through a combination of bespoke illustrations and family photos of a long-ago Africa, a graceful design style evolved to embody Hearts Content.

The website offers full eCommerce facilities for purchasers throughout the world, allowing our client to broaden her market enormously.

The Hearts Content website has been awarded a cool homepages award for creativity, attractiveness and functionality.
