German-based Impala Outdoor Furniture imports quality South African designed and manufactured outdoor products onto the German market. This young company has a growing network of stores in Germany.

In 2006, CREATE DESIGN ™ was approached by Impala’s marketing manager and asked to outline a proposal for an integrated suite of marketing materials for Impala.

CREATE DESIGN ™ developed a specifically African colour palette for the Impala interactive presentation. Added to this, CREATE DESIGN ™ shot landscape and wildlife photography which set a distinct tone for the design. These textural elements were countered with clean-edged European-style design to define a balanced design theme.

The interactive presentation of the Impala range, multiple full screen images of each product and PDF spec sheets give users a clear overview of the entire product range. A distinctly Afro-jazz sound track was included in the presentation to create the atmosphere for the Impala range.

The online portfolio was distilled from the elaborate CD presentation, refining the content into a format that balanced content with ease of navigation and fast download times. The Impala website forms a great platform from which a comprehensive online catalogue will be developed. The website is available in both English and German.

CREATE DESIGN ™ were also commissioned to develop the print-based marketing material for Impala using the theme which had been established to ensure continuity of the brand image throughout the marketing materials.
